Fresh live flowers are delicate plants that can be used to improve the surroundings and make decor come to life. The downside of these magnificent pieces is that they have a short durability life span. The need for a reusable alternative has led to a new and better solution, Sola Wood flowers.

Sola Wood Flowers are hand-shaved from the Cassava root into thin sheets. They are cut, shaped and bound into beautiful, lifelike flower replicas! The wood is soft, pliable and porous. Because of this wood flowers can be dyed, painted and arranged in many different ways!

How Sola flowers are made

The artificial flowers are easily made by using water to shape the Sola into flowers. The flowers, when produced, can come in different forms and colors. You can dye the wood flower by using no toxic latex paint, which is easy to use, readily available and comes in assorted color variations. You can also use fabric paint, watercolor, or spray paint. After applying the color, you might want to add stems depending on the occasion you are making the flowers for. The stems can either be made of wire gauzes or bamboo sticks. Just add hot glue to the base of the flower and gently attach the stem type of your choice. Maybe your flowers were ruffed during transit or after use, or maybe it lost shape after coloring or dying.  Do not worry; you can fix it with ease. Here are a few tips to bring your flower back to life:
