The big day is coming, and you want all the people you love to see how you are getting married. Even before you pick sola wood wedding flowers, book a venue, or send first invitations to the guests, you must choose your bridesmaids. It is not an easy task, especially if you have a lot of friends to choose from, and you might hurt someone's feelings. Also, you have to determine how much contribution you will require from your bridesmaids so that they could know if they are up for this important role at your wedding. Here are a few tricks.

Make a Preliminary List

There used to be some rules that would limit your flexibility when choosing the number of bridesmaids. Those rules are no more, so you can have as many or as little bridesmaids as you want. We suggest making a preliminary list of all your close friends and relatives and seeing if they are eligible for the task. Even though being someone's bridesmaid is an honor, it is also a big responsibility. Your bridesmaids will have to be there when you shape sola wood wedding flowers, try your wedding dress, and panic before the wedding. They will have the best seats to see you getting married, but they also have to contribute. So, as much as you love some of your friends, if they cannot show up on time to your weekly Tuesday's brunch, they might also not show up on time during the ceremony. You don't want that, do you?

How to Propose to Your Bridesmaids

You can have so much fun just out of proposing to your bridesmaids. The best idea would be to host a small gathering, prepare some food, and have small gifts (anything from sola wood roses to fruit baskets) with notes that explain the whole situation. Once you propose to your bridesmaids, most of them will say yes instantly, but some of them might need some time to think. Please understand that some of your friends might have their personal reasons (money, family, etc.) to refuse your offer. It doesn't mean they don't love you, though.

Clear Responsibilities

You want all of your bridesmaids to know their responsibilities from the first minute until the end of the ceremony. If you want your designer friend to help you with picking the wedding dress, let her know. If you need your artistic friend to help you to shape sola wood wedding flowers, make sure you tell her right away. Just like anywhere else in life, try to stay transparent and let your bridesmaids know what you expect from them!

The Hard Part

You might not have enough space for all your friends to be bridesmaids. That means that you will have to hurt feelings. Some of your friends who were not chosen to be your bridesmaids might ask you why. So, prepare some answers beforehand, so that you would be able to control the damage. Tell them that it's because of their busy schedule that you think they will not have time to help or come up with some other reason. Just never say that you have someone closer friends that you love more.
